Dr. Samantha Berman-Melendez, DHSc, LCSW-R is a Licensed Psychotherapist and the founder of Rockville Centre Psychotherapy, established in 2015. She has spent more than two decades empowering individuals through both individual and group practice. Her professional experience spans adolescent and adult residential and inpatient psychiatric treatment, as well as consultation in a variety of clinical settings.
Her clinical work integrates psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and cognitive behavioral approaches, as she has provided specialized support to New York City first responders and other high-stress professions. Since 2023, Samantha has served as an onsite Employee Assistance Program (EAP) mental health counselor at The Walt Disney Company’s New York headquarters, where she provides in person mental health services and group seminars for Disney Entertainment Television affiliates including ESPN, ABC news groups, National Geographic, Hulu, and Marvel Studios.
Samantha also serves as Senior Clinician at Applied Behavioral Sciences, where she works with individuals and groups to support emotional wellness and personal growth. In 2023, she expanded her work by launching her coaching brand, Life…By Samantha Leigh, which focuses on mental health education and provision of clinical services and wellness programming for community agencies and corporations.
